Weddings

Saana and Anthony were married in an intimate wedding at their local masjid in NYC. I was honored to photograph their special day.

I had the honor of second shooting this wedding with another talented photographer. Unbeknownst to me, I was working with a slightly lamed camera, but the results were no less stunning with the handicap.

I was second-shooter for this wedding. My job was shooting the groom and groomsmen, which was, for the most part, like herding cats. I won’t even get into what I went through to get the seven guys and the groom into their suits and out to the garden for the formals. Those guys were a riot and a half, and I enjoyed interacting with them.

This sort of low-key, informal wedding was right up my alley as their wedding photographer. The atmosphere was intimate and relaxed, which was perfect for my "beautiful details" style of photography. The fact that the bride is a long-time friend of mine was a plus.

I was a guest at this wedding, but I captured some moments I am very happy with.
